Software Engineer

Responsibilities

Overall responsibilities include:

  • Develop web based software within predefined specifications.
  • Offer creative ideas in design meetings to solve industry or client specific problems.
  • Be driven and a self-starter with the ability to run with a project with little guidance.
  • Develop and assist other team members in preparing and executing test plans.
  • Design databases, including tables, indexes, stored procedures, etc using SQL Server 2008.
  • Assist in establishing best practices and efficient development practices.
  • Assist in the preparation of development and end user documentation, training material, help, and sales force communications on new products or feature.
  • Help support clients and end users in using the software solutions.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • One to Three years of experience in web-based, large scale enterprise product development, or comparable experience.
  • Worked on project teams including a mix of both clients and internal resources.
  • Strong understanding with Web Based technologies, html, xml, javascript, ASP.NET, etc.
  • Experience with the following Microsoft .NET Technologies: C#, MVC, Entity framework 4.
  • Experience with versioning software using source control software, preferably SVN.
  • Strong database (SQL Server 2008) experience, both structurally and with writing SQL.
  • Experience with jquery and other java script libraries.
  • BS. In Computer / Engineering / or other Technical field.
  • Strong writing, communication, and presentation skills are a must.
